Aurora to New Hamburg to Plattsville and a hockey practice.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Had a good nigh's sleep at my daughter's in Aurora, after packing it in about 9:30 last night. Up nice and early. As these busy people begin their day SIL headed out to work at 6:45 am . my daughter appeared shortly after and the grands appeared one at a time ,  getting their morning cereal saying good bye for the winter and heading off to school. Finally the last was Granddaughter #1  appeared,  chatted for a bit and got herself ready for school, just like a 9 year girl. They all had their lunches packed, then at 8:45 my daughter, myself and Fergie (the dog) walked her to school about a 1/2 mile away through the old part of Aurora . She is right into French emersion and is vey fluent in French as well as English very helpful in the workforce here in Canada.
Heading off to school with a big smile
a nice walk through the old part of town
her we are and she will be gone for the day
On the way back my daughter and I enjoyed  a nice walk checking out some of the cool halloween decorations people had set out.
spooky
loving the fall colours too
this be their house
The 2 pictures below daughter #2 sent me that I  did not know she took, nice that she can share them  with me more memories of the fun times we had there this year.
me checking out the leftover desserts
relaxing in the living room
About 9:30 am we packed our car and headed south towards Toronto and west to New Hamburg , good timing as we missed most of the morning rush hour.
love this small hamlet we pass through
called Snowball
Got to our coach by noon had a light lunch, secured the coach and relocated  only 6 miles this time to Camp Awesome in Plattsville. George of M&G Portables is coming to pump out our sewage he even brought his wife Marilyn along again . but I missed them, Suzie was here to chat a bit though. Got set-up and I headed to New Hamburg for a few supplies, fuel the car and pick up our 6 month supply of prescriptions.
loving these fall colours now

Back home by 3 pm relax outside for a while enjoying this amazing 85F weather (feels like 95F) , wow is this ever nice! Shorts and sandals again. Yahoo!
Now this is the way we enjoy camp awesome even though the pool is closed for the season, sunny, quiet and wide open spaces.
this be our view
My son had made some hot sauce from the peppers he grew in his garden (2nd year for it) like me he enjoys very hot spicy food.  Plus a few ghost peppers and habanero peppers. Wow these are the real thing that I can enjoy, but with these need to enjoy them in moderation, I can do that!
oh Yeah I am in  heaven!
Supper tonight an easy one, leftover turkey and Rutabaga heated up to go with a tasty salad, and some cranberry orange sauce we had as well.
A few voices of hot peppers mixed it gave it a very nice kick
Still outside enjoying this amazing weather, and at 6:45 pm we will go the Plattsville arena to watch Grandson # 4 practice for a game later tonight, but think we will pass on  the game. getting late for us and we have another busy day  again tomorrow.
as we pulled out of the yard did manage
to catch a bit of a nice sunset
was nice to see him practice
but by 7:45 pm  we were done
We had a busy weekend and a long day, time to head home and call it a night. Put our feet up.
Hope y'all had a great day and enjoyed  a bit of this hot weather that came back to give us a treat.
    Thanks for stopping on by.

  1. Ah where's GD#3 I miss those eyes! I draw the line at habanero (in moderation), ghost can be a bit much. Hockey is just about to start in SoCal, we'll make it to a couple games ... maybe. Enjoy your last week at Camp Awesome! Looking forward to your travels.
