After a very long day yesterday we both had a wonderful sleep last night, windows open Fantastic fan going to bring in fresh air.
Got a short walkabout this morning then down to the clubhouse to cook some pancakes (flapjacks) . Had some help there from Dorothy, Doug, My Suzie, Erin, and Mike to set the grill to the right temperature , It is a finicky grill.
I began cooking the pancakes and flipping them 8 at a time, Did this until 10 am.
ended up a bit more than 200 pancakes , served. No complaints!
memories if  my restaurant years
Dorthy, Suzie and Erin helping in the Kitchen
a wonderful mix they use
Doug mixing the batter
After breakfast done I headed to the reserve by Kettle Point to gas up the car with cheap fuel and search for some fresh lake Pickerel. Our normal supplier was sold out but he gave me a few tips. So I cruised around the reserve, checked a few places and finally found what we needed. 3 lbs of Pickerel (Walleye)  plus the 1 lb we had perfect for a fish fry when we get back to New Hamburg tomorrow with Suzie's family.
After that got laundry taken care of, Checked our tire pressures. Then 3 pm  Kim and Ken dropped in for Happy hour. Their grands have gone now and they can relax once again. Whew !!! Nice to see these guys again may not see them again until next summer.
Ken and Kim
A bit later Larry and Cynthia dropped by to say hi as well, always nice to catch up with them again. Once or twice a year.
Cynthia and Larry
Soon they all headed home and Gerry stopped by for a couple of minutes with his granddaughter in tow , to check out something with Suzie as I was reheating our left over pizza from last night. For todays' supper. Did not need any more after a single pancake for lunch. Had to sample what I was cooking, even though am niotbn a pancake lover. Need peanut butter to make it take good .
Gerry and his Grandaughter
While we were  gone yesterday the Cat lady here in the campground dropped off 2 fresh tomatoes from her garden, Thanks so much! One was sliced to top our pizza tonight . nothing quite like fresh picked garden tomatoes.
oh yeah!
I like to reheat pizzas in a fry pan almost as good as fresh baked.
Suzie planed this yesterday when she ordered pizza
at Duff's in St Catherines
now this was a very tasty supper tonight
Weber Q put away already.
A busy weekend we have and our last day here got everything done so we can hit the road in the Morning  heading  to Suzie,s Brother 's in New Hamburg for a while.
Busy but relaxing as well .  I got to enjoy my e-reader while the laundry did the job . but no more time today.
Glad that y'all dropped by and hope your had a wonderful Sunday as well.

    1. David I don't think there is a difference, here is the park it was always a free pancake breakfast, now they call it a free flapjack breakfast. That is a nice easy mix to use, too cook up tasty and are fluffy.

Cynthia and Larry are a fun couple. They are not camped here they have a seasonal site closer to their house at another campground.

  6. Back home in the kitchen, you sure seem to enjoy what you do so well. Grand #2, Aj, could keep you busy with the flapjacks - her favorite breakfast.
