Mennonite Relief Sale 2018 New Hamburg.

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
Feature quilt for this year in the centretop right is our Nephew Greg auctioneer
Ok up just before the sunrise today , nice sleeping no more comforter needed , no heater, and windows open. Gonna be a wonderful hot day. And we are moving the coach to the New Hamburg Fairgrounds so that we can enjoy this years Mennonite Relief sale. The atmosphere, the foods, the people, and the auctions all fun. We have enjoyed this for quite a few years. Suzie's Dad still helps out, his 50 plus years being here. And Suzie did help as a child she helped her mother with the donut project that still are made fresh right here in the tents.
another awesome sunrise here in Plattsville
All set up here in New Hamburg before 9;30 am with a nice parking spot we like. I took a quick walkabout the fairgrounds.
Shortly after 10 am Suzie headed into Waterloo for an adjustment wtih her Chiropractor, then home here for lunch.
Watching the way things are being set up all the tents, BBQ's fryers, as well as the parking areas.  Everything goes like clock work with all the volunteers.
This year there will be 211 quilts auctioned  off and some can go for amazing prices, A couple of years ago the feature quilt sold for $42,000.00 What an intense sale that was and we were here.
