A bit cooler, a lot more windy but still a decent desert day.

Where are we today ?
Coyote Howls  Why Arizona
Clic a pic to enlarge it
Was windy overnight and looks like it will be like this all day. But the sun is shining and is quite warm despite the wind. Did get a decent sunrise this morning then headed out for a nice long walkabout different areas of this park
there it is warming up now
Headed out along the north end road of Coyote howls East by the mountains, there is lots of Saguaro  Cactus on the hillside. Interesting looking. Landscapes and a lots of the various different sites people have set up here. So many have a set them up and for the price at $550.00 for 12 months I can see why. Most of these have a water tap near by and with the free wifi this a real bargain.
hammock in the trees
down through a wash

love seeing these Saguaro
how about a big hug?
Snow man? Sand man?  better than the snow me thinks
Walking and enjoying the warm weather past these tennis/ shuffle board courts , pavilions next to them.
nice pavilion here for get togethers
Puttered around bit and then after  light tasty lunch another walkabout over to the Why Not travel store just because,  and wanted to get a few more pics of the beautiful murals that they have there. Suzie is having an issue with her computer that needs to be looked at, maybe tomorrow at the computer guy in Ajo. The diagnoses  may not be good. When it boots up nothing but a white screen. We have tried a few fixes but so far to no avail.
the Why Not Travel Store
Over here they a few wonderful murals around the washroom building, really gotta love these. Makes the desert come alive. I do have to share them with you just because I can.
amazing murals
Back to home dirt decided we need to add more fresh water to our tank. My fix for the leak the other day seems to be working. So we have a choice move the coach 200 feet to the water tap or use my jugs and pump to add water.  Well it is only 1 pm a cloudy windy day and we do have the time so. Filled our water jugs 2 times and added 30 gallons of fresh water. Hey still no leaks! Ya hoo !!!
Now with a bit of sunshine for a while and temps to 70f we moved the car to block the wind and did enjoyed a couple of hours with our readers outside out of the wind.
we enjoyed reading outside for a while, out of the wind
the car blocked the wind was actually very nice
Then about 4:30 we came inside to begin prepping supper, Tonight Pork Schnitzel I  will make, Suzie's craving tonight.  So a couple of boneless chops thawed out. Too cool and windy to do it outside and works better inside anyway, we planned this around the weather. For the recipe you can click HERE or my recipe blog top right sidebar. To this I added some sauteed mushrooms and onions, topped with a mild salsa and grated cheddar cheese. To go with our salad and fresh steamed asparagus.
pounding the chops
in seasoned flour dip in egg and seasoned bread crumbs
Let it rest in the fridge for a while,
Noticed the dusty? cloudy skies, does not seem dusty but  probably is.
it was clear earlier
Now to pan fry the schnitzel only a couple of minutes a side tip with the mushrooms, monism salsa and cheese.
does not take long at all
tasty, yep, filling yep
sure hit the spot tonight
As supper was done we did manage to get a bit of a sunset,  Considering next to no sunshine at all was surprised we even got that.
There ya go another desert day here in Why Arizona making the best of the weather that has been given us. No complaints at all.
Thanks for dropping by and hope y'all had a great day as well.

  3. The town is making a nice recovery and the art works seem to be helping. Hope the wind drops a bit for you. It's now at the coast - cold and strong, but I enjoyed a nice kite day at the beach.

  12. Great pictures of the park, sure can't beat the price for staying there. Are there many people staying there all year, sounds like a wonderful price, but seems it would be really hot during the summer. I see from above Suzie's laptop working again, hope it stays that way! The schnitzel looked absolutely wonderful!! YUM
