This weather is amazing. I got up at 6 am and was 70 f (21C) outside now this is fall weather that we are not used to, but will take it no problem. A few nice walkabouts just enjoying this weather.
After this wonderful fresh air and exercise I whipped into  Forest for a few groceries, and Halloween stuff for the grands. Home in time for a tasty light lunch with Suzie. Then I headed into town to get all off our laundry done before hitting the road in the morning.
Then home to check our tire pressures while Suzie put the laundry away, I always make sure a few things are done. Before the rain showers that were predicted. At 3 pm we had a bit of rain so over to Gerry and Melinda's for Happy Hour in their sunroom. But heck when we got there the rain had stopped. Even Walt was able to join us for a cold beverage. Nice to see him again before we leave for the winter. Maya was not with him while he was working here today. And Suzie got a doggie fix with Tucker. Last one for about 5-6 months .
always smiling and having a few laughs
we sat for a while and Tucker snuggled on my lap!
unusual for him
Suzie did get a doggie fix from Tucker though when she gave him a few small treats.
good dog
Them home for supper. Tonight a spaghetti squash that we love and some homemade pasta sauce with ground turkey and mushrooms that I made a while ago. in our freezer.
love spaghetti squash
10 minutes in the microwave skin side and covered with saran  wrap, done to perfection. Oven mitts and scooped out the spaghetti.
not long and we have spaghetti
topped with our sauce and some parmesan cheese
sure was tasty. No carbs or gluten,
Nice and light. and leftovers of course
Supper done, dishes done and enjoy some more amazing warm fall weather, Outside at 7 pm still in shorts, 75 F posting this blog then gonna enjoy our e-readers for a while longer. Really gotta love this weather while we can.
Thanks for taking the time to check us out and hope you had some decent weather wherever you are.

  1. For me, fall is the best season...cool crisp and not much humidity. It's like you come alive after a hot summer. Glad you enjoyed the day.

I still prefer the hot summer days, but these days are a close second.

  3. F.G. gets the same weather. It was warm but mostly wet in the afternoon. No problem since we have things to do in the Suite and the sheds.

  5. Funny that's pretty much what we had for dinner last night (thanks to you). We had never tried spaghetti squash but now that's all we use in place of noodles. We had a light white sauce though, but tonight I'm going to use the rest with red. YUM. Tucker is really going to miss Suzie! Nice sunroom that Gerry and Melinda have..looks very cozy!

    1. Your welcome,we much prefer it to pasta when we can get it for reasonable price so much healthier, An any sauce would work or just plan with butter. They do have a very nice sunroom, Suzie will miss Ticker too, but am sure we will meet up with other dogs in our travels.

  8. Never tried spaghetti squash. Just use the old-fashioned spaghetti we find at the store. Of course, that doesn't mean we might not try it if I ever see one at the market.
