Another warm sunny day, haircut done and swordfish fillets for supper,

Where are we today ?
clic a pic to enlarge it
More amazing weather again today and yup we will enjoy it while we can! Got a few nice walkabouts done nice and early enjoying this weather, what's not to love about it ?
wind turbines in the morning  sun
this was the skies almost all day
Was looking for tuna fillets the other day and had no luck but came across some swordfish fillets, so lets give them a try. Very mild light fish and tender if not overcooked. Almost like a very tender steak !
these are amazing
After a nice light lunch I made a quick trip up the road to Juicy Fruit Orchards , to get another bag of honey crisp apples and 7 pumpkins for the grands to decorate when we see them for Thanksgiving.
Got some quality reading time done in the shade, after I had a nice hot shower and trimmed my hair and beard (Suzie does my trimming), Now me looking almost human again !
Just after 3 pm Tucker once again dragged Gerry here for Happy hour. Probably our last one of the season. Supposed to rain tomorrow afternoon and we leave here Thursday morning.
Tucker gave Suzie some nice doggie kisses
A few minutes later Ron stopped in
and gave Tucker a nice greeting
today's Happy hour
Tonight for supper we gonna check out these swordfish steaks, They look amazing.
For the recipe you can click HERE or my recipe blog top right side bar. Whipped up a salad and cooked the fish.
these swordfish steaks were amazing !
this be our Weber Q 100
best grill I have  ever had

what a great supper we had and Suzie said
better do this again, I love it!
With this wonderful day we had up to 86f (30 C) no complaints here at all, Gonna cool down again but heck, sure beats what we could have had. See it is 8 pm still outside, posting this blog and enjoying our e-readers , listening to the crickets and loving this still very warm evening, one of the last evenings that we can do this for quite a while.
Thanks again for taking the time to  stop on by and really hope y'all had a wonderful fall day as well.

  1. Swordfish is a favorite! Right up there with halibut or salmon - and often less expensive. You certainly figured out how to do it right! What's on the eReader?

  4. Well, we were close to 100f here yesterday. We'd just as soon pass on a little of that heat.
