A cloudy day to begin with. But we just puttering round, few walkabouts for a while and a early lunch. At noon the sun skies cleared, sun came out, awning went down and the temperatures rose. Now this in one wonderful afternoon.
This morning, cloudy damp and lost of  mosquitoes
So with clouds gone and the bugs gone, grass dry I hopped on the mower to finish up mowing the final 1/3 on the yard here. Just over an hour and was all done.
Always looks wonderful when freshly mowed.
Now the lawn all done 3pm, and temps still about 86f, (30C) think I need a swim. Just cause I can and the pool needs some company anyway. Nice and refreshed again, can relax in the shade reading with my honey.
Soon time again to whip up supper. Tonight a grilled cod fillet for Suzie and a Tuna steak for me. Both cook quickly, the tuna done to perfection for me 2 minutes a side and is so amazing , love it ! Recipe for this is top right sidebar under my recipes.
I added to this a bit of cucumber and onion salad, (tasty? sure was) our green salad and some very sweet local strawberries  I picked up at the grocery store. These are oh so good!
yummy? yup it was
What a perfect summer day, with the sun out and the mosquitoes gone sure is wonderful.
Now to just relax outside, enjoy the peace and quiet a walkabout or two and make some more progress with our exciting books. Once this blog is posted.
Glad that y'all dropped by again for a peek and hope you had a wonderful summer day as well.

Where have we been this summer ?

  2. We were warm enough but it certainly wasn't a sitting out day here either, F.G. Glad you got sunshine, George.
