Excellent weather and white Pelicans overhead, after a nice round of mini golf.

Where are we today ?
clic on a pic to enlarge it
Nothing like a good nights sleep. Nice and cool 50 f overnight, windows open was wonderful. Today the weather gods have predicted some very nice weather, sunshine, not much wind and no rain , temps to the mid 70's F, sound perfect to us !
First walkabout as the sun came up after coffees, etc,  was perfect as usual, get my heart pumping. Love this time of day.
Daffodils by the clubhouse , nice to see
and one lonely tulip
kayaks we can use. nicer in the summer I think
did get a blurry shot of a robin
Now about 10 am on a wonderful day I challenged Suzie to a game of mini golf. She beat me in the desert  when we did the desert golf in WHY Arizona.. Lets see how we do here.
love these benches
This park used to be Bears's Den, maybe the reason for the
Bears holding the bench
Now here we go, she is in good form and did get a hole in one ! But in the end I finally beat her by 3 strokes. Now at sometime we will do another game best 2 out of 3 wins the prize, to be determined.
More walkabouts and found a nice Lilac bush that smelled wonderful.
smelling the Lilacs
After lunch my first walkabout took me by a couple from Ontario in their Airstream. Carolyn and Ross from Halliburton, what a super couple, chatted for a long time and could have chatted more, but we both had things to do today. Maybe another time on down the road. Their 3rd year heading south. Our friends Bill and Patsy met them the other day just before they headed home.
Then his afternoon a few times we enjoyed an amazing fly over of these amazing American White Pelicans, The second largest bird in North America and not seen very often, There was flock of about 30 birds just soared around here a couple of times, so graceful. These birds can have a wing span up to 120 inches (10 ft) . What a wonderful thing to see. You can read about them here or search the internet.
Wow !
this pic I took from the Web
they created a cloud when they flew overhead
A few hours of enjoying this wonderful weather outside reading , 77f in the shade and clear blue skies, gotta love it !
Tonight for supper I pulled out a T-bone steak from our freezer that we bought quite a while ago, (on sale of course) Treat tonight while the weather was good.
So 2 baked potatoes, fresh mushrooms and onions in foil and the steak grilled to perfection. This was one large steak we shared.
oh was so tasty a rare treat for us
Not much of a sunset tonight, slightly overcast but still nice enough to enjoy this wonderful weather sitting  outside , reading and posting the blog till about 8 pm.
Thanks once again for stopping on by and ya'll had a great day as well.
