Warm sunny day, Silly Al's and Blog followers stopped by to say hi.

Where are we today
clic on a pic to enlarge it
Started off just another wonderful desert day. The usual coffee's and computing nice and early and as the sunrise a wonderful refreshing desert walkabout, so quiet and peaceful. This is my special time of the day.
And wandering about the desert here checking out various places that we can camp at. So many remote areas here to choose from, whether free areas or LTVA areas even at this time of year always room for more who wish to boondock. A few pics below to fill you in on our day.
lots of wonderful desert dirt here to enjoy
scenery , we love it
even a few Saguaro Cactus around as well
And even enjoyed some very warm weather under the shade of our awning getting some quality reading time done as well this afternoon.
Now with 10 wanting to go for Pizza a reservation is a good Idea if we all want to sit together. At this time of year they are so busy they do not take reservations after 3 pm, so 3 pm it was. And the place was filling up quickly. They only seat 138 people and think they were soon full.

The bunch of us now 10 thought it would be great to check out Silly Al's. The saying here in Quartzsite "is if you have not been to Silly Al's you have not been to Quartzsite". And I can agree great food and love their Pizza. Hard for me to say that cause I thought I made the best pizza in my restaurant for 10 years. If you like good pizza theirs is amazing.
We arrived on time and the service excellent. All ten of us ordered and were served together. As far as I know no complaints. Now what really blew me away was one couple came in and recognized me and Suzie from our Blog. They have been followers for quite a while but do not comment. And right after that another lady follower dropped by to give condolences for the passing of my mother, another follower. Neither one comment. But I know we have around 1500 page views a day and maybe only 10 comments. Hard to believe that all these people follow what we do, But we do love the lifestyle. Thanks for stopping by guys it was much appreciated. Sorry I did not pick up your names but with the noise here and my hearing impairment is hard for me to hear it all. Of course my memory for names is not the best either.
A few pics below of the group at out table. Lotsa fun we had and a great meal.
Mike and Dee
Gerry and Melinda

Of course we had leftovers play good for a tasty much.
Home before 5 pm and still a very warm day, so more reading and relaxing outside enjoying this amazing weather.

Loving these longer sunny days and they will get longer every day.
Thanks for checking us out and hope your day was amazing as well.

Where have we been this Winter

  1. Interesting to see all the followers who don't comment. I have been wondering about that lately. I get between 500 and 1000 views a day depending on whether we are traveling or not, and many fewer comments than in years past. I have often wondered if all those views are robots checking in from algorithms or who knows. Lots seem to come from Russia actually, and I am reasonably certain all those folks aren't interested in rving in the United States. We actually haven't been to Silly Al's, guess we will have to try it next year.

  2. Hi, George and Suzie - Looks like a lot of fun - that bread looks amazing. Next time I'm going to try it. Their nachos also look really good. Anyway, I ended up leaving my campsite sooner than I had originally planned, and never got my walk down to see you. :( But we'll see you at the BloggerFest, if not before. Keep having fun. I'm loving these warmer days, too, while they last. :)

  3. I'm drooling, and not just from the braces. I do wonder when I can bite into garlic bread again. It sounds like you had a great time. A gang is a good thing for a meal in my view. Lots of laughs that way.

  4. Pizza with a group of friends sounds like a good way to spend an afternoon, especially when you have some surprise folks stop by.

    1. Not sure about Yuma being allowed there, it is a very busy place and loud. Yes the food was excellent as always. But a phone call would answer that question for you.
We are having an awesome time as usual.
