Sunshine, clear blue skies, not much wind, what more can we ask for?

Where are we today
clic on a pic to enlarge it
What another wonderful day here this morning first walkabout at 6:30 was very nice,  about 50f and no wind (much warmer than Quartzsite but we have a much lower elevation here). Mind you the wind picked up when the sun came out but still was a wonderful sunny day.
A quick trip to Yuma for a few food supplies (got a good deal on a Turkey .67 cents a lb will cook some of that later) and home by 9:30. Then we stored  our Christmas decorations for another year.
Lotsa walkabouts today shorts, t-shirt and great weather really gotta love it. On one of my walkabouts noticed this rig at the back. He has it all. Their dune buggy on top of the truck, a car gets stored on the lower level and their huge 5th wheel hooked up with a goose neck hitch. and away they go.
interesting setup
This afternoon we really got to enjoy some wonderful time outside enjoying our e-readers. We are both into books that we just can't put down.
Awning down for some shade from
the blaring sun, It was only 65f
but very hot in the direct sun.
Tucker fix for Suzie
Happy hour today was a Bill and Patsy's they had sunshine, and in the late afternoon is much better than shade at our place.
Always fun to chat for a bit
before we head home for supper
As I was grilling a couple Turkey Garlic sausage to add to our salad and a bit of leftover fettuccine alfredo from the other night caught a bit on an early sunset.
sure setting about 5:15
now this was very tasty
after supper
a bit more sunset over the
Imperial Sand dunes
That was it for another great sunny warm desert day, nothing quite like it and we enjoy this lifestyle so much.
       Thanks for stopping on by.

  1. Paul told me it was 85 in Houston today. It better be that nice tomorrow, I am flying out of cold Ohio. Enjoy that sunshine.

    1. I am sure it will be much nicer than Ohio, not that hot here in the desert but the warmth from the sun is wonderful.

  4. What books are you reading? Today was nice here, too, but cooler than where you are. Those sausages look GOOD! :)

    1. Lots of good authors we enjoy ,David Baldacci, James Patterson, Harlen Coben, Iris Johanson, J.a Jamce, Jeffery Deaver, Linwood Barclay, Lisa Scottoline, Michael Crichton just to name a few. Right now William Bernhardt (Strip Search).
We will be back that way in a few weeks, The sausage are wonderful, but supply is gone until we get back to Ontario.

  5. Just spent some time catching up and it sounds like you have been having a wonderful and relaxing time. The warm weather sounds great especially since the temperature, as I write this, in Escanaba is 14 degrees. The trade off my granddaughter is sitting across the table from me and that is pretty special. Keep enjoying the sun.

  6. Looks like you enjoyed another day in sunny Arizona. It's sure better than digging out from the snow.

  7. I am really looking forward to finding some of that warm sunshine, George, although not sure that Desert Hot Springs will be far enough south to get it. Here in Bakersfield it is still quite chilly. South today to the LA County Fairgrounds and the start of the Rally.
