Colder, heavy frost, hockey and nearby snow !

Where are we today ?
Cold again last night below freezing lotsa frost on the car and the grass is white and "crispy". Got up 45f inside but we toasty warm with our comforter and this morning Mr Heater on and the furnace for a few minutes we cozy once again by 5:30 am. Then coffees and computing and a walkabout town, warmer clothes this morning.
crispy frosty grass
even our Weber Q is frosty
Passed by quite a few house with frosty roofs, this one in particular shows the frost he has black shingles on his roof.
Then an early lunch at 10:30 and over to the Arena in town, two grands playing games today back to back. One at 11 am  and the next at 12 noon.
Plattsville Arena
First game grandson number one in the white Jerseys, Playing Tavistock, the other team has much larger players and skate much faster. It really was a great game and Plattsville held their own for quite a while. All in all it was a really good fast moving game.
Grandson number 1 on the left
Between games outside for some fresh air, looking down Mill st. to the other end of town.

Next game was fast paced too and they all played very well.
Number 87 is grandson number 2
We get to hang out with both the grands for a bit after the game, so nice to see them have fun.
number 1 and 4,
brotherly love
Back home for the afternoon and got a message my son and a couple buddies stopping by tomorrow. So whipped up to New Hamburg to pick up a few things for a bite to eat when they get here. We did have a few snow fluffies this afternoon but nothing to worry about. Not like they got in Grand Bend today on Lake Huron about an hour west of us. Right close to our home park Rock Glen resort.
snow in Grand Bend today!
Nice late afternoon sky
For supper tonight we gonna have a spaghetti squash Lasagne. for the recipe click HERE  or my recipe blog top right side bar. Easy to do inside and we need to use up the squash before we cross the border on Wednesday. Did the trick and and we have more leftovers. Some for Suzie's mom and a tiny bit for a lunch.

  5. Thank goodness you're almost out of the area. You sure wouldn't want to be driving on that wet, slick stuff. The sunny south is waiting for you.
