Arizona Swap meet today to buy...nothing, Ok we had a bite for lunch.

Where are we today ?
Early morning walkabout was able to watch the crop duster circling just above the tree tops in the campground, then a few minutes later a hot air balloon. Perfect weather for both activities. So nice to see.
Then an outing to wander about the Arizona Swap Meet and Flea Market a short distance from here. We have been here a few times and always fun to wander about the 32 acres in the shade with over 1,000 vendors (only about maybe 500 at this time of year, season is winding down) selling pretty well anything you might or might not need.
Got there a about 9:30am and just wandered about, checking out all the stuff we still don't need. But ya never know what could just jump out at your.
stuff
produce
great entertainment in the food court
Now time for a bite and what do we choose?  To share one order of chilli/cheese fries , Very filling and very healthy?? (Not) but took care of lunch today.
To our surprise friends from Ontario jumped out at us, Yep we saw then at Pilot Knob and now the same day and same time at this Fleamarket almost 3,000 miles from home! Such a small world.
me, Suzie, John, Barb, Pat, and Rob took our pic.
gas powered bicycle
Heading back home the crops are being harvested, so busy here at this time of year.
Now time to enjoy our books in the shade thinking about a light meal for supper. So Eventually fire up our Weber Q grill a couple hot dogs each.
All dressed up with peanut butter and the works, a few scoops and celery sticks sure hit the spot, easy, quick and a light meal.
That was it for our fun day, sure worked for us , hope you did alright too!
another different sunset
Thanks for stopping on by, ya'll come back now hear?

  2. We went to the Mesa Swap meet and actually bought something. Some socks for Jim. Hard to believe the season is already winding down. Seems like we just got here.

  3. Can't believe you went to the swap meet and didn't find a thing you had to have. You certainly must have a lot of will power!

  5. Love the Yuma Swap Meet. Puzzled that one can walk away without buying something, but my big question is this: Peanut butter and hot dogs??????

    1. We do a lot of swap meets, and live in our coach so not much we need. We do buy paperbacks, but more expensive here than we like to pay.
Peanut butter is good with lots of things, some people like ketchup, not me.

  7. Those evil cheese fries looked awfully good. Surprised you actually eat food that is not cooked on your Weber grill... :cD

Sometimes we do eat other things too. Hard to make good fries on the Weber.

  10. Made for a great day, as for the chili fries we all have to indulge once in a while they looked delicious. That would be a neat bike to have especially on the days we feel a bit lazy. Going to have to treat myself to a hot dog with peanut butter again soon your making me hungry. Hope you and Suzie have a awesome weekend! ( P.S.) So neat the way you meet up with folks you know in so many places.
