Relocating to New Hamburg area to wrap up a few things before we head south.

Where are we today ?
Well it was cold this morning about 40f (5c) but the sun was shining and things were warming up. Coffees, computing and walkabouts, no hurry to pack up. But after our showers and stuff we were on the road by 10 am, only have a 90 minute drive. No problem getting off our site just a few deep tire marks in the grass but did not get stuck, we got lucky.

an awesome travel day
Just a wonderful quiet day taking the back roads, listen to tunes on our Satellite radio, so nice to be moving again.
coming up the road to Dennis and Sandy's
We arrived here by 11;30 am got all set up. Had a bite to eat for lunch then off to the store to pick up our Thanksgiving Turkey on sale. Got a nice 15 lb bird .87 cents a lb will take care on my family on Monday. And ran  a few other errands as well.
Nice and cozy here for a while
While I was gone Suzie got to visit with here brother and Sandy for a bit then when I got back proceeded to whip up supper. Suzie's Mom and Dad are coming as well. He can now drive his car after his hip replacement (Aug 27th) and only uses a cane to walk, awesome!
A simple meal mashed taters, tossed salad, green beans, and chicken legs and thighs, cooked in the oven and finished on their BBQ.
used their BBQ for the chicken
love chicken
Now while I was finishing the chicken on the BBQ, Suzie stepped right in and whipped up the taters, melted butter for the green beans. I actually caught here on camera cooking in the kitchen ! She is a very good cook just lets me do it most of the time, just cause I have too much fun in the kitchen.
browning butter for the green beans
We had a tasty supper tonight, thanks guys for supplying the food and the place to cook it for y'all. Nice to see everybody again.
yummy
Thats it for today, got some stuff done , now a few last minute appointments here and there, people to see and things to do and before it we will be "on the road again"
Thanks for coming on down for a visit to our new spot for a few days.

  1. There are two kinds of RVers who park on grass. Those that have been stuck and those that haven't been stuck...yet! ;c)

    1. We have been stuck a few times before, but know how to get unstuck, not a big deal. And a lot of our campgrounds have grassy sites.
