Mowing lawns, enjoying this great weather and making chicken soup, too much fun again!

Where are we today ?
Another great sunny day, we are loving this fall weather. So after coffees, computing and my walkabouts I made a quick trip to New Hamburg for a few supplies.
A nice country dive to New Hamburg
Back home I worked on part 2 of the chicken noodle soup. Remove from fridge, skim the fat then add celery, carrots, onions, garlic, rice pasta, some potatoes and few spices then let it simmer for a couple hours then all is ready to eat.
In the meantime Suzie headed to New Hamburg to her dentist and I hopped on the John Deere for a few hours to mow some more acreage. So nice and relaxing, productive at the same time. Also John, Lea and especially Jamie likes, when I do this for them. It was a perfect day to do this too.
my view for the afternoon
some nice colors happening back there too
Came back to check the soup and all is done. We can share with our hosts and the remainder goes back to Dennis and Sandy's. They supplied soup pot and bones from two chickens.
Tasty gluten free chicken noodle soup
1/2 way back on the lot, see our coach dead centre
John Deere
Now done for the day we can play with Buddy and Molly, Suzie has a treat for them after they had a good run.
Suzie gets her doggie fix again
Playing with dogs and we even got a chance to enjoy our books for a while. Then time to whip up supper.
Guess what we having?A hot turkey sandwich, boiled taters and an acorn squash with honey on it. Even some more of my homemade cranberry sauce to add to this tasty meal.
sure hit the spot
moonrise behind the tree!
Now there ya go another awesome day with almost perfect weather.
Wanna thank y'all for stopping by again we do enjoy you the visitors. Some people even leave comments, so easy to do.

Last nights dinner sounded good especially with the squash this time of year so fresh. I'll take a batch of that soup too Yum! Have a great Thursday!
