More sunshine and I cooked supper on a Napoleon Grill !

Where are we today ?
Nice sunny bright day and much warmer, temps in the high 70's today (26c) perfect. Chatting with Chris and Bill this morning over morning coffees then we took a nice country drive down past Delhi to check out a 25 acre property they are thinking of purchasing to build a new house on. Needs some TLC but looks like a perfect place for them, will see what evolves.
Then a stop in the local grocery store in town and back to putter around for a while. Before relaxing under the gazebo beside to pool for a few nibbles and friendly conversation.
Nice hanging plant here too
A few friends dropped by for a short visit and Suzie got to check out some of her dogs. Chris has a kennel licence and for years has breed Schauzers as well as white or black Pugs . They have a beautiful Kennel with ceramic tile floor, fireplace, kitchen and washing machine.

Before long its my turn to whip up supper. Gonna try out their new Napoleon BBQ. Its is huge, much bigger than we can take in our coach and is a good quality grill. So I gonna try it out. Nothing to exotic just roast some potatoes, fresh carrots, green peppers and onions from the garden (in foil) and grill a few boneless pork chops. Oh yeah and a garlic bread loaf.
A nice grill but kinda big for us
This new grill performed very well , even thou it was not a Weber, no problems with supper, the secret is low and slow.
Taters, carrots in foil , chops and garlic bread
fresh beefsteak tomatoes from their garden too!
Really hit the spot tonight again,
Sorry Rick no desert
Then a bit more fun on the deck and time to call it a night.
One thing I can agree on is if you have a very good quality (not cheap) grill they will perform very well.
Fun to visit with old friends and catch up, but on the road in the morning a bit further south in southern Ontario. Should be an interesting day, not sure if we will have internet or even cell phone service there, (Long Point Provincial Park if we can get a site, no reservations, but we like to wing it) almost in the middle of Lake Erie.
Thanks for coming on by and really hope you had a great summer saturday too.

  2. Goodness, I have never seen a Kennel look like that. It looks like a hotel lobby.

  3. Super looked great as usual. However, wasn't thrilled with the dogs being kept in cages.

    1. Well it is a kennel, and the dogs do spend most of the days outside, this is their bedrooms.

  4. Pretty fancy piece of grilling equipment you used there, George. Happy to see the results looked perfect as usual. Too bad about no dessert pics though.
